This is the best restaurant in Rochester. Everything on the menu has impressed me but I especially like the mashed spuds, the pulled pork sandwich, and the pickle backs! The shrimp and polenta is yummy and the fried chicken is the best. The beer selection is fantastic and they have an excellent old. Lastly, you can't beat the atmosphere. It's in an old train station by the river and has a great porch.
Very pleased with my visit here. Great food. Very hipster feel. I prefer the porch section as it is more of a restaurant whereas the cellar is more of a bar. The chicken sandwich is to die for. One word of caution for the cellar: soda does not have free refills. On a fun note, our check was presented in a cheesy romance novel, and while we waited for payment to be processed we were asked to fold the corner of any pages we found with a steamy love scene. Very fun idea!
Everything we've had here was awesome. Flavorful, well done, quality food.
I wish they did breakfast here, but I understand why they don't. Their lunch and dinner have been our favorite meals this trip.

Super delicious smoked meats. Don't let the hipster "gastropub" label scare you away from trying it. They have a melt in your mouth brisket and amazing deviled eggs. Another entree worth trying, is the meatloaf sandwich with pork smoked onions, super good!
Great fried chicken! I also liked the brisket and risotto. The tables were pretty cramped which made it a bit tough to share the food (it comes out family style). They have a big menu / seasonings / paper towel holder taking up one side of the table that they should get rid of.
One day I'll try their cocktails... tempting creations.
