Fantastic food and service at a reasonable price in a quiet atmosphere
I had a very nice visit. Friendly staff and good service, the food was good for breakfast and reasonable price wise.
To give you an idea of what this "restaurant's" food is like, I'll share with you what they served my son. We ordered him a grilled cheese with mashed potatoes and gravy. This kitchen had the audacity to toast the bread with a slice of cheese on both pieces, and then put them together, hoping the cheese would melt into each other and create some sort of resemblance to the classic. I'm sorry, that's not a grilled cheese, It's dry toast with cheese. Pathetic. If they can't even take the time to make a simple dish, imagine what else they can't do. On a different note, the waitress, Ashley, was great!
The explanation I got from the 2 people looking into it for me was that the consensus was they had a bunch of them that they normally do not run out of, so they didn't put a name on it.
Every time I go, the food is great and the price is right. I love the rustic atmosphere too. It's almost like being at a mom and pop shop. The coffee is always pretty good too.
My wife called in at 9:30am to reserve a pie on a Wednesday. I went in to pick it up at about 5:30pm. Turns out there is no pie reserved for her after-all.
