Clean and spacious room equipped with microwave and a more than adequate sized fridge. Easy check in. Breakfast was poor but I'm not too big on breakfast so it didn't bother me. Staff was exceptionally welcoming. They even held my belongings until I got back from my interview after I checked out, and let me use their staff bathroom and made me coffee while I waited for the shuttle. Would definitely stay here again.
I spent two nights here while visiting the Mayo Clinic. The location is good for that, only a 5-10 minute drive depending on the time of day. The staff here is good. Upon checking in, they were very helpful, informing me of the hospital shuttle service (free for guests), offering directions, etc. The rooms aren't great. My room was clean, but very outdated and in need of some TLC. The door had to be kicked in order to lock (literally kicked while trying to turn the deadbolt...), the toilet and sink were very beat up, and there is hardly any sound barrier. The hallway traffic was loud and I was at the end of the hall. I can't imagine how bad the noise would be if I'd been in the middle of the hallway! I would not stay here again, but this trip was fine. I liked the location, but I didn't like the clientele or the hallway noise. It's just too loud.

The room was great and the night clerk was awesome. The only issue we had was that the day staff seemed to be new or less familiar with the systems as they appeared to get flustered easily and we ended up getting charged double. We will definitely stay again, hopefully the staff will be a little better trained by then.
My husband and I stayed here about 4 days a week for almost two months. He was transferred here for work, but we hadn't moved yet. The staff was always accommodating, the rooms were always clean, and the breakfast is decent enough to get you started. Coffee, fresh fruit, & various granola bars. It's perfect if you need a room with a kitchen.
