I was hesitant to give yoga another try (I had a not so great experience years ago in another state). BUT I am SOOOOOO glad I did. My husband and I participated in a restorative yoga class with Destiny and it was FANTASTIC!! I must say, I found yoga to be a great couples class and am looking forward to going to more of Destiny's classes. Thank you Urban Yoga!!
I have been interested in trying yoga for a while but was worried I would stick out like a sore thumb in a class. I started with the beginners series which was fantastic and gave me the confidence I needed to enroll in other classes. All of the instructors are phenomenal, they offer guidance and support to improve your practice (but only if you choose). I have never once felt out of place. It has been an excellent learning experience and I am excited to continue learning and growing at Urban Yoga. I really enjoy the Vinyasa for Beginners, Candlelight Yin and Yoga for Stress and Anxiety classes. I seriously go home and melt into my bed because I am so relaxed, I have gotten some great sleep since starting.
A gorgeous yoga study! I love the blocks, straps, and blankets. Oils are diffused during practice and Natalie is an amazing, amazing instructor. A gem of a studio right next to Costco! It's nice to be able to take a Saturday morning class and then run errands.
An amazing place to relax and find inner peace! The only studio in Rochester that truly makes everyone feel welcome. I liked to express myself at black light yoga. Truly FIVE STARS.
Not only is Urban Yoga a great studio that provides the classes I need for "ME time", the instructors are kind, real, and genuine people. My children did their first studio class at U|Y last weekend and it was beautiful. Truly beautiful. We will be back as often as we can! A beautiful welcoming place for my whole family to deepen our practice.
