I bought my tires from Sam’s, they came highly recommended with a great price. When it came time to purchase my new tires the employees were helpful with their guidance and installed them quickly.
Now fast-forward two years later. My tires have been great, but the service from Sam’s Club tire and service department has been less than helpful. My valve broke on my tire and clearly resulted in a flat. I again used the emergency tire change service as it was -9 degrees in the morning and I was in Zumbrota off of 52. The company helping came out in less than 20 minutes and had me on my way with the spare. I called right away to see how busy they were and was told it was slow and to just come in. I was in Sam’s before open 9:50am and was told they could replace the entire tire valve kit in about 15 minutes but I would have to wait about an hour. It’s been over two hours now and I’ve been told “I’m still the next one up.”
About a year ago I had a hole in my tire and had a flat. The emergency tire change service took a bit, but not much more than an hour and the company who helped was very polite. Then when I brought it in they mentioned that it wouldn’t take too long to get me on my way. It actually took over 5 hours to get the tire patched up when they told me it would only be an hour.
Exceptional customer service! Everyone is always so nice and helpful. If there is ever a defective product or I just dont like it, they take care of me. All about customer satisfaction!! Sam's forever has my business.
Here’s my advice - pay the extra money and go elsewhere. It’s not worth the stress or struggle.
Great place to pick up household items in bulk. It's the only place that I can find my favorite coffee, Velvet Hammer. They also carry a great granola that I can only find there.
Unfortunately Sam’s doesn’t take appointments unless you are getting all four tires installed and aren’t truly honest about how long it’s going to take them to service your car. My husband and I both continue to have issues with their service and will be taking our business elsewhere. Honestly, this post is less of a rant and more of a warning to those thinking about using their services.
They let me try samples of food so I can decide if it's good our not the people there are friendly and the setup there is great thanks for the great food and good setup!!
Customers should be aware that if they are buying an item that is on clearance or marked down, that it may still ring up at the original price. The store manager told me that "the cashiers try to catch those and adjust the price at the register". However, the cashiers do not have a list of marked down items, and in 4 different instances I was charged the original price until I asked what it rang up as. They made the adjustment in price on my word, which tells me it happens a lot. To me, it shouldn't be the customer's or the cashier's responsibility to make sure that they are selling things for the marked price. It's false advertising so that the store makes as much as possible at the expense of customer's trust.
