Don't be fooled by their website that has all 5 star reviews and is 100% recommended. This place isn't worth the money and has terrible office staff. I can't count how many issues I've had with this place only to be shrugged at and claim they aren't responsible. They lose paperwork like crazy, try to claim you violated rules that don't exist in the handbook or lease, and this is coming from someone who lives quietly, keeps the place clean, and always pays rent on time. Save yourself from this place. Nobody deserves to be treated like this.
The apartments are not worth what they charge. the Rent is ridiculous, you have to pay your own utilities based on the whole buildings usage (not just your own) and they also don't enforce their own rules universally.
They claim to be open to satellites but in fact they make it near impossible for many areas of the complex. Because my apartment balcony was under the building canopy I had to have the dish mounted on the side of the railing. No damage was done to the balcony itself and the satellite was very sturdily mounted using some spare wood from a construction project that was just finished. Management told me to remove the satellite because it was not in my "rentable space" even though I am on the 2nd floor where it would not have interfered with anyone using the ground and it posed no safety risk. My neighbors in the next building over supposedly received the same notice but refused to take the dish down even after corporate threatened to remove it themselves and evict them. Not only are the tenants still there but so is the Dish! I feel like they are gouging us with rental prices and stupid pointless rules.
But the apartment were remodeled and we enjoyed the space we lived in. Good Luck!
I had a close relative living here a few years ago, it was terrible. The hallways always smell disgusting and people would break and try to pick at the key sensor at the entrance. Important notices are just slipped under your door and the office/management are unprofessional. The only reason I give this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because 1) the main office is very nice, tidy, and renovated and 2) I vividly remember one time in summer a few years back they gave everyone a bottle of water and a lemonade powder thing to put in it. It was a cute gesture and it was much appreciated.
I know that they have quite a few residents to keep record of; but, our complaint was experienced by others too. Someone (in our building) was jamming sticks and coins into the security door, to keep it unlocked. We even let the office know who was doing it! Another complaint (on one occasion) is that there was poop in the washer/dryer and smeared on the floor. What can you do, I guess. Also, our neighbors were loud 24/7..
Rent is way too expensive with bills not included, maintenance is unreliable, and the office staff is so unprofessional. Important notices are slid underneath your door, or posted by the door to the building. Half the time, no one sees them. Ten out of ten would not recommend to anyone.
We lived here for 13 months. During our tour the apartment was really nice, it was quiet for a busy street, and the leasing agent was very kind and informative; she even knew a resident in our building. At the time, the amount of space we received for the price was nice, as well.
