After determining that we would no longer work together, Jon was incredibly difficult in providing us information in order to take back management of our property. He out and out refused to provide the leases for residents within the building along with any other necessary items so that we had an accurate picture of who was living or had lived at the property so that we could put together accurate records. To the degree in which we had to involve our attorney. He ultimately provided the information but not until March 1, 2017 which was the day we officially took over management of our building which was done simply out of spite.
We were satisfied enough with our rental experience that we also used Jon Espy as our realtor when purchasing our first home. Jon was very helpful as we walked through houses, giving us his input on characteristics that could either be positive or negative. At times he was difficult to reach by phone, which was nerve-wracking when we were concerned with how long a home may be on the market. However, he was very responsive via email and that was typically effective enough. Just like when looking at rentals, we never felt pressured to buy something that we weren't comfortable with. I always got the sense that Jon's advice was very sincere, and never someone just trying to make a sale. He provided us with really valuable guidance as we went through the home-buying process.

Jon’s parting words were “you’ll see all the work it takes to be a property manager now”. A professional would have said nothing.
I initially went through a different management company in Rochester, MN, but they were unreliable and poor at communication. I didn't feel I could trust them with my rental property. So, I turned to Infinity based on a recommendation from my realtor. I have been incredibly impressed by Infinity and highly recommend them! They are professional, prompt with communication, organized, and reliable. Jon is friendly and meticulous to details. We reviewed the pros and cons of listing my place as long-term versus short-term furnished rental. Jon provided printed materials outlining each option's requirements and recommendations. Once the property was ready, Jon sent out a professional photographer and created a great listing. The property was rented within 48 hours! Yesterday, I received my first payment, which was a seamless process as well as an itemized report of the rent for the property. Needless to say, I am very impressed by Infinity Management and recommend them to everyone I know.
Overall, we were very happy with how we were treated both as tenants and real estate customers. I'd certainly recommend Infinity Real Estate & Management Group to anyone looking for a place to rent or buy in the Rochester, MN area.
We had one month to prepare and educate ourselves on a business we knew nothing about along with raising children and running another business.
Our building opened 8/1/16 and from there through the end of Feb. 2017 our building was still not fully occupied….it fluctuated but we hovered only around 20 residents. While this is an issue it was not the only issue.

When it became evident that the relationship would not continue and that we needed to have a more active role in ensuring the Parker was being run with our goals/expectations at heart. This lead to Jon stating he was being “micromanaged” which may be how he felt but certainly not for a lack of trying to get him to manage the property as we were told he would initially.
In case Jon tries to deflect our expectations were simple. Keep the building clean, turn over units clean, be kind to residents, be present when you say you will, follow the criteria to rent.
I hoped that it would not come to this but I am looking to help anyone else who may be looking for reviews on Jon Espy/Infinity by giving feedback on our experience. If I could give less than a star I would.
We have worked with Jon and his team at Infinity Real Estate and Management group for the past 3.5 years renting, and recently, he helped us find and purchase our first home. Jon is so knowledgeable, honest, and helpful! As first time home owners, he really made the process stress free and easy. Read all reviews when looking to hire a management team. I did not and that was one of the worst mistakes I could have made.
My wife and I rented a home through Infinity Real Estate & Management for 3 years and I have no complaints with how we were treated. Their agents showed us several potential houses and I never felt pressured to lease something that we weren't satisfied with. Over the 3 years of renting, maintenance requests were always handled promptly.
The building did not have someone onsite 2-3 hours per day-Renee or Jon would randomly show up when it worked out for them rather than what would be beneficial for residents. In one instance when a representative from a large company visited the building as a potential housing option, simple things like the carpets being vacuumed and a clean kitchen were not done. Embarrassing to say the least. In addition to this units were not being turned over in a clean condition, residents at times were responded to in a condescending tone. He also did not have us listed on numerous rental sites that have since proven to be successful.
We have managed it ourselves since March 1, 2017 and the building is full of great residents with a wait list. Someone that knows nothing about property management did this. How? By being kind, respectful, and present. Pretty simple.
