I had no issues with Hertz corporate or the process or price for renting a car here, but a few months ago, I had a reservation and came to pick up the car. There was only one employee there and I stood at the desk for 30 minutes while she went outside and talked on her cellphone while I was waiting to pick up my car. She knew there was a customer and didn't care. After talking on her phone outside, she came inside and started the process to pick up the car. The phone kept ringing at the desk and she would stop helping me to talk to whoever called. Finally, another staff member arrived and started their shift and he actually finished the process. Neither employee apologized for the wait or for ignoring me. I would rent from Hertz again if I found a good deal online, but I would avoid this location due to terrible customer service. I came in at the specified time to pick up the car and they either hadn't staffed appropriately or just have terrible employees or both. I filled out a survey from the company afterward letting them know about the poor service and never heard anything back.
