Over the past few years I've had exceptionally spotty service with Clements. They held onto my vehicle for 3 months while repairing it, so I spent the entire summer without a vehicle. In the meantime, I had several acquaintances tell me that they had just had their car repaired by them and were in and out within the same time frame that my car was still in line. Repeated conversations with their service department reflected their business. I was nice and understanding, but it just dragged on and on.
Floyd Albee was excellent to work with. He found the exact vehicle we requested, and it was impressive how quickly he had it ready for us. I was also very satisfied with my trade in value.
These guys are likely only still here because they are the only Subaru game in town. I hope they continue to improve their service.
These folks had one of the company cars and could not figure out what was wrong. Wanted more time but was not going to discount any of the time they already had doing the basic stuff we already did. Last time we will be using them for any work.
When looking to purchase another vehicle this year, I contacted 3 salesmen. One failed to respond, another responded 3 weeks after I had already leased a car, and the third was the diamond in the rough who worked with me very closely through the whole process. Email and phone calls do not work, you must walk in or make an appointment. Be prepared also to sit and wait for a long time while your salesman bounces around between customers. They do not have enough *good* salesmen to handle their weekend business.
I was torn deciding what vehicle to buy and they were very helpful in aiding me with my decision. I am very happy with my new wheels! I can't wait to take it on vacation next month.
There are precious few people who will really bend over backwards to help you at Clements Subaru. When you find them, remember their names and return to them. They will serve you well.
While out driving, my radio/navigation touchscreen suddenly went black and became unresponsive to the use of any controls even though music was still playing. I drove straight to Clements Chevrolet where I bought the truck and without an appointment was able to pull right into the service bay so I could leave my truck on and show someone while it was happening. Service rep (Matt) immediately identified the cause as needing the newest software update/download for the touchscreen system and asked if I could leave the vehicle as it would take a couple hours to hook up and run the update. I said yes and received a ride home from one of the courtesy vehicles. Matt called me as soon as the update was done and a service vehicle came and picked me up and brought me back to Clements to get my truck. Extremely satisfied with everyone from the service rep to the courtesy driver's who were able to help me on the spot, even without an appointment. They got me back on the road in no time and fixed everything to my satisfaction. Thanks guys for the excellent service!!
