I just went in today to replace a pair of Birkenstocks I have had for at least 6 years, which were very worn out. As soon as I got to the store, an associate named Romeo immediately said "wow, you really haven't taken good care of these" and continually made comments about how worn out and gross they looked, when all I wanted was to get a new pair and get out without all the snarky commentary. I got to the register and he and his coworker even went so far as to show my old pair to another customer to warn her to buy extra stuff to take care of her new pair. I felt extremely humiliated because these employees made a spectacle out of me. News flash, Romeo (this is coming from a former retail worker): don't you ever dare make these sorts of comments towards your customers, and ESPECIALLY not in front of everyone if you want to keep your job. Never going here again.
Tradehome is the worst place I have EVER bought shoes. When going in initially I found a pair of shoes I like and they told me they were $89.00. Once at the register suddenly they were $129.99! I bought them thinking I would walk around the house in them see how I liked them; wore them for an hour or two and they hurt my feet extremely bad and left me with blisters on my feet. Went back to return them and they told me they couldn’t because they were worn. Ulimately this makes sense but
