I would recommend visiting the store in Phillipsburg, NJ. For me, it is a little farther away, the tax is a little higher, and I have to pay a toll, but it is well worth the extra for the wonderful customer service you will receive there.

The Rochester location had a lot of super cute stuff and good prices! Alot of small furniture like chairs, nightstands, and dressers as well. The store has a lot of selection that is nearly organised and the staff is verry helpful, nice, and knowledgeable about their products.

I live in Easton, PA. I recently visited the Pier 1 store in Easton...was not very pleased by the management. I wanted to buy a table. They didn't have anymore. I asked to buy the one on display, even though it was scratched. I was hoping to get a little off (maybe 5-10%). The manager said she couldn't give me anything off, because she could order me one to pick up in 7 days. I wanted it that day. She was unwilling to work with me. I went to the store in Phillipsburg. They, again, only had the one on display. Yet, this manager was EXTREMELY nice (and understood the meaning of "customer service"). She allowed me to buy the one on display for 15% off, because it was also scratched. She didn't even try to look it up to see if she could order it. She understood that I was looking to purchase it that day.
