Will never shop here again. Big store with a lot of nothing. Took 10 minutes walking around to find the pasta section. Plenty of employees not ever asked if I needed help. Part of the reason it took so long is because they really don't have a pasta section. Maybe 6 feet long in the isle. Very limited selection. From what I saw walking around, higher prices for the same products than I can get elsewhere. Will not go back.
Hy-Vee ways nails it on cleanliness and friendly staff. In addition they always carry a nice assortment of items including locally produced items, have a fresh meat selection and lots of great deli options. This new store goes above and beyond, a great selection of bulk and specialty items and a great spot to grab a bite to eat, especially if everyone is craving a little something different...salad, Chinese or meat and potatoes.
Fam ate in the Hy-Vee restaurant, nice atmosphere but our food came to us cold. Two individuals had steak, and then the same two proceeded to have diarrhea during the night. We are assuming the cook cross contaminated the grill or used another improper cooking technique.
This is for the cafe only. Was asked to wait 15 minutes for a seat....there were plenty open. Have eaten here and other cafes throughout Rochester in the past 3 years and on this Veterans day...the food was sub par. Burrito didn't have 75% of the ingredients listed. Avoid and go to the variety of other Rochester places offering tastier and more reliable breakfast foods. TWO thumbs down
Grabbed some mashed potatoes and gravy, along with some potato salad. Saw some spicy chicken in a bucket and grabbed some but wouldn't recommend to anyone. The chicken was undercooked and doesn't have any taste. The salad was awesome tho along with the potatoes
