Was hit by a construction truck today while riding a bike, called 911 and the responding police officer said "what do you want me to do about it." This place was advertised as a bike/pedestrian friendly city, it's anything but that. I've never lived anywhere that would dismiss a biker/pedestrian being hit by a vehicle so easily.
