Next time I'm in Rochester, I will definitely be stopping by this store again. The customer service was fantastic and the environment was great. If you like alcohol, simply stop in and let their staff take care of you. On top of that, you also get to support small local business.
I just had to write about the experience we had at Tessa's office. The customer service was incredible. She went over my tastes and tried to customize the wine tasting to them. My husband likes whiskey and she had some great suggestions for that as well. We loved ever part of our visit. Will definitely go back next time we are in town.
My wife and I were in town to celebrate a friend's achievements. Our friend, who's a bourbon drinker, wanted to stop at a liquor store and pick up a bottle of Maker's Mark. This place was the closest shop to where we were at the time, so we figured we would stop in and check it out.
After letting us test a few other products, we ended up walking out with two bottles of liquor and a bottle of wine. Didn't even pick up the Maker's Mark we originally went there to get.
This place is the best. They have really unique brands of wine and spirits. They will bend over backwards to help you. The prices are great and it's full of hard to find gems
We love Tessa's office. The wine selection is excellent and I have never been disappointed. There is a wide price range to choose from too so don't let the "small, exclusive" setting scare you away. VIP customers (basically just giving them your email address) gets you discounts and there is always something on sale. If you want a more high end choice Tessa has it :-) Customer service is excellent and there are very knowledgeable, polite and eager to help. It is a very tasteful addition to downtown Rochester and I would highly recommend.
Interesting selection of quality wines in all price bands.
Completely not what we expected. I forget the person's name who was behind the desk, but after we told her we were looking for a bottle of Maker's Mark, she treated us to a sampling of wines from their large chilled tap glass case. Little did we know she also had some fantastic rum behind the desk for us to try too. Being rum fans, we were pretty instantly hooked.
