With the googlie goo you can find a million cinn roll recipes that are MUCH tastier. If you can read, you can cook; as witnessed by an 11 year old who made 8 fantastic rolls with cream cheese frosting for around $1.25.
I actually work at cinnabon been there for 7 month and the one post that got me a bit upset and untrue is Joe senn about me. We can not sell them hot because the plastic tops will melt if the bottom is cool to touch you can frost the rolls it doesn't mean that they are completely cool to close the box lid it will melt. Us workers know how to do our jobs. The packs are grab and goes and they do not have taxes on the because they are not hot. The hot rolls have taxes on them.
Wanted 4 or 6 pack of cinnamon rolls. Saw multiple packs sitting on back counter. Was told that I couldn't have them unless I paid full retail price for them individually at a cost of $30 because they were "warm". However when counter person went to frost them she could very easily touch them with the back of her hand and were more than cool enough to frost. Did not buy them at double the price just because the counter girl felt like it. Very disappointed the one thing I actually look forward to while treating at mayo I was unable to enjoy because of someone's laziness.
Bought a cinnamon roll and coffee. Asked for a cup of water and was told they only have bottles no free water. Is that even legal? I thought all Minnesota restaurants were supposed to have water for customers.
We thought we like Cinnabon when it was at the local Mall years ago. So one morning we purchased a box of 6 rolls for $15+. They weren't even fresh - and this was MORNING people! Nobody in the family liked them - a couple actually used the word "gross" - we ended up throwing half of them out. Set your bar a little higher people!
Cinnabon has gotten so much business lately that on occasion, they run out of cinnamon rolls, thus the reason you may have to wait for one, but waiting for a fresh one is NOT a bad thing. At least they are hot and gooey and delicious. Cinnapacks, I'll have you know, are not always going to be baked fresh. They have a shelf life of seven days after sale, and we only keep them on OUR shelves, for ONE DAY. So no, the packs aren't fresh, they have to cool to be properly frosted. Included in the sale is and INSTRUCTION SHEET on how to properly reheat them, which gives you the exact same taste and look and FEEL of a fresh cinnamon roll. Cinnabon is a BAKERY for cinnamon rolls, you cannot expect them to always be fresh in a pack. That's why they have PACK DAYS ON THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS where we sell FAIRLY FRESH PACKS FOR $10-$12 instead of normal price. Also this location had a manager change, therefore any of you who visited us from December to March received fairly terrible services. Now, there is new management and everything is much better, fresher, and friendlier! High reviews on this location, I would recommend it to ANYONE and suggest you try it if you've never had it before! :)
